1 stage, 2 Belgian hip hop collectives, 3 days of non-stop partying
Surprise! At only 4 weeks from kick-off, Couleur Café announces a 4th stage to join the previously announced Red, Green and Blue Stages. To do so we set up shop with Red Bull Elektropedia, the country’s most influential electronic music and hip hop platform. At the Red Bull Elektropedia Black Stage they bring you 3 days of non-stop party with the finest DJ’s and lots of special guest appearances. The hosts and curators will be two Belgian hip hop collectives who go by the names of SupAfly Collective and Goodfellaz Sound System.
SupAfly must be the first and only female hip hop collective in the country. Fatoosan, Young Mocro, Vaneeshua and MikiGold each have their own background but share one big love for true hip hop, soul and the best black music. Their fresh mix of classic rap, modern beats and trap earned them a solid rep behind the decks and their weekly radioshow on Brussels radio Bruzz.
Goodfellaz Sound System is the trio Seans, Pan Pan with Junior Goodfellaz. Three brothers from as many generations who were born into music and now superbly interact on the decks. They each add their own personal touch to the Goodfellaz Sound, bridging gaps between musical ages, genres and people. Junior even has his own show on Studio Brussel. Expect one big ragga, hip hop and reggae party.
SupAfly Collective x Goodfellaz Sound System promises to become an epic sound bash with lots of invitees & special appearances.
Friday June 30th: TLP, the godfather of Belgian hip hop and reggae parties has been ruling over the country’s dancefloors for decades.
Saturday July 1st: Azer, 16 years of experience behind the decks and a major name for anyone who loves hip hop. Played at all the major festivals and is editor-in-chief of the Chase music platform. Janeen Beanz is coming straight from London, where she regularly hits the clubs with her hip hop, RnB, garage and Nu-Skool vibes.
Sunday July 2nd: Théo, Brussels beat maker and DJ, appreciated throughout the country for his great skills and his party concept BSMNT.
Make sure to pass by the Red Bull Elektropedia Black Stage on a regular basis, because this will undoubtedly become one of the places to be at #CoulCaf17!
