Bankra Bike Soundsystem is Carribean sound system culture mixed with Dutch cyclemania. An instant block party on wheels. Three wirelessly connected bikes pump African and South American Vibes. Every bike has its own character. The Dalai Lama is the beating heart of the pack. It is build out of an abandoned rickshaw from 1987. On this bike the DJ is spinning his records while enjoying his dancing audience. From here the tracks are sent to two other bikes. The King Conjo is a BMX with a 250KG sound system on it. It is powered by two truck batteries and pure muscle strength. Last but not least we present you the Banana. An old chopper bike from the seventies. It is the messenger of Bankra Bike Soundsystem and the first to reach the audience with some really hot tracks. As we say in Dutch: ”Voetjes van de vloer en je billen uit de broek” .
